Moved + Nested

Well, we're officially moved in...to my mom's. (Kimye style, remember?) And as crazy of a situation as it is at 36 weeks pregnant, we couldn't be more thankful to live with her amidst this sell-our-house-in-Wilmington-and-buy-a-house-in-Charlotte transition. Bless my little brother, a junior in high school, who will be studying for exams with a crying baby down the hall at 3am within the next couple of months...

This past week has been every bit of bonkers but simultaneously fulfilling. We are ecstatic to be back! Even Mark has been hit by the nesting bug. (Yes, we can nest even if it's not at our house.) We've hit the ground running preparing for Nancy's arrival in Charlotte! Here is a peek into our last few days.

We'd planned to come home this weekend anyway for Harper's baby dedication at our church.
We celebrated the occasion the day before ceremony at the Hoidal's home. It was gorgeous!

We were treated to a welcome home dinner uptown on Saturday night at Levant thanks to The Food Babe's recommendation, and it did not disappoint. My chicken kabobs were a-ma-zing.

On Sunday we went nesting crazy. Unpacked, unpacked, unpacked (our clothes are scattered between three different rooms--thankful to my mama for clearing out space for our little family!) and put together lots of baby goodness from Nancy's Fancy Tea Party.

Marky figuring out the carseat
Y'all, he is the sweetest daddy. I surely fell more in love with him this weekend watching him excitedly prepare for our baby girl.

He FaceTimed his dad to show him this thang in action and proudly downloaded the 4Moms app/Mamaroo remote on his phone.

This is my sister's room at my mom's house. And it will be our little family's room for the foreseeable future.
Mom and Hope did the sweetest job Nancy-ing out the room with baby clothes in the closet, Fancy Nancy books all around, and sweet little accessories (and empty drawers)  to make us feel at home.

Sunday after Harper's baby dedication
What an honor it was to attend this ceremony and especially to be sweet Harpy's godparents!!
It also gave us a peek into what Nancy's dedication will be like in several months. :)

We ended the weekend with a hospital tour. Yeah...things got really real with that!
Mark and I couldn't stop smiling at each other through the entire Sunday night tour. So, so pumped.

The weekend was full of exactly why we came back: family. We couldn't pull this off without them. I am still pinching myself! What a blessing to be home in time for Nancy's arrival. Next on the list: sell, buy, settle on a pediatrician, attend childbirth class, and get into a routine as Mark begins his new job! God is good. We trust His perfect timing. Bottom line...cheers to this fresh chapter full of change! Bring. It. On!
