SLUMBER PARTIES
Last year Mark and I spent many a night on the sofa bed beside the tree. Kind of because we wanted to but also kind of because we watched 2 seasons of Downton Abbey in a 4 day span. Regardless...we've kept the slumber party by the tree tradition alive this year!!!

FAMILY PICSMy Uncle Jesse (Yep. I have an Uncle Jesse like in Full House. It's awesome.) takes amazing pictures. He shared the ones that he took over Thanksgiving with our family this week! I adore them!!!

I bought this a couple years back, and I keep bringing it out every Christmas season. It is the best smelling lotion in the whole wide world. Hands down. And (truth) I often sniff my hands repeatedly after putting it on.
MOUNT AIRY ART WALKYou may remember reading here that Mt. Airy is my adopted hometown. I couldn't love Mayberry more!!! Lizzie, my bff and an amazing artist, convinced me that I should sell the Cheers Y'all canvases at the event. I definitely don't feel worthy, but I will never pass up a chance to spend a weekend in one of my favorite places with some of my favorite people!!

Gorgeous family! And we totally watched the first 2 seasons of Downtown Abbey last year in about a week, too!! We've been searching for Season 3 forever and I finally just bought the DVD version on Black Friday! We'll probably start (and finish ha) watching it this weekend!

This temporary duty assignment over the holidays is a killer of christmas traditions... we haven't brought anything with us {only what we could fit in the car and the christmas stuff got the ax}.
