FAMILY TIME
I got to be with my family ALL last weekend. My sis lives in NYC, my brother lives in Charlotte at home (since he's in high school...:)), and I live in Wilmington. Us 3 Davis kiddos hadn't been all together since July! Needless to say, it was a fun, long overdue weekend reunion!

GUESTS!!!
Eeeee! We have some weekend visitors arriving Saturday! Which I LOVE LOVE LOVE so much. Because I love the ladies who are coming. And I love our guest room. And I love people I love being in our guest room!!! Thank you, beach, for being such an enticing place for people to come visit!!! ;)
MORNING QUIET TIME
I am still trying to create a priority habit in the morning. I want my day to feel like it absolutely cannot start without having some one-on-one time with Jesus. I've felt suuuper strongly convicted creating this "priority habit" since this post. I'm working on it, folks. Not there yet...but striving...seeking...with purpose...for His glory!!

ReplyDeleteI love "In the Morning When I Rise, Give Me Jesus". Morning is my favorite time to do bible study. Without it, the day doesn't seem right. I need to make a mini of that sign to put next to my alarm clock for those grumpy mornings.

ReplyDeleteI totally missed the CMA's because of my niece (totally a good excuse for missing it!), but I am so glad that they keep having Carrie and Brad hosting the show. They're just so great. And when I move to NC, we'll have wine nights on our couches all the time!

ReplyDeleteWhoa, your guest room is amazing! It's a good thing you like guests because I can see people never wanting to leave! I am excited for Thanksgiving, it will be the first time my whole family gets together in ages...actually they've been getting together all the time, but for the first time I live far away and can't hang out with them all the time! I am SO looking forward to the holidays and seeing everyone :)..and that shirt is so perfect for so many people I know (self included!).

I either get distracted by kids/internet or forget and then don't read at all! so I try to always have my devotion and prayer right away first thing. It helps motivate me to remember all the people I have promised to pray for!

ReplyDeletesorry, PS-the She Reads Truth studies have been amazing in my life AND you can use the the you version bible app straight from your phone to follow their current plans or past plans. Sometimes when I've been up late with my little one or am feeling exhausted I can just click right on my app for a quick start to quiet time straight from my bed. Not ideal, but it helps! Just thought I'd share!! :)
