Things I Love...That You Might Not Know About!

You already know I love Jesus.
Mark. And Amelia.
My family and friends.
Being at home.
Coffee.
The usual for moi!

But in the spirit of this heart-filled day (because although I am V-Day neutral, I do love me some hearts!)...I thought it would be fun to fill you in on a few random things that I love. Little Elise-isms, if you will. :)
So here it goes. I tried to pick random things you might not know about me!

I LOVE...

Seltzer Water
Seriously I've loved it for years. Plain and simple.
This flavor is the jam. So is pomegranate!

Sleeping
I think I love sleep more than the average human.
My family noticed it growing up, and now my hubby notices it.
I guess I soak up the years of sleep while I can get them! I know that will be out the window when kiddos come along! :)

Britney
Forever my biggest girl crush. And the pic because...well, that's my favorite Britney.
(and Justin)
I love him too. Music included.
I also love(d) them together. Sigh...

Bojangles Cajun Chicken Biscuit
We aren't big fast food eaters.
But if we're on a long trip and fast food is the only choice? It's this. Every time.
(Sorry, Chil-fil-A. You're a close second.)

Singing!
Yep, that's me! At my hometown church in Charlotte.
I don't like singing for show, but I do love singing for Jesus!!
And if you're in the car with me, chances are I'm singing the harmony to the radio. Which I know is kind of annoying sometimes. Oops.

Hugs
Not in a creepy way! :)
But seriously. Maybe it's because my love language is touch.
I'm the person who will say nice to meet you with a hug over a handshake any day!

Maps
Random but true!! Mark and I collect them.
They're a gallery wall favorite in our home! :)

What are some random little things you love?

  15. Oh my goodness! This should stop surprising me by now that we have so much in common, but I doubt it ever will. My fridge is stocked with La Croix! I LOVE to sing and used to sing for my hometown church praise band, but I won't sing in front of just anyone! And I crave cajun filet biscuits like it's my job. Seriously. I had one yesterday as a matter of fact. Gosh, I love you!

  16. I'm so with you on the singing and hugging!! I tell Matt a person needs 6 hugs a day to be truly happy and since I don't always see 6 people I know well enough each day, he has to fill my quota. You can imagine how well that goes over ;) Also, I can't sing. But I would love to hear your pretty voice. I LOVE music.

  17. Sleep...now that's something I've never learned to love all that much. I've been energetic since I was a toddler who didn't take naps. :P A couple of my little sisters really love sleep, though, to me it feels like they sleep forever and I find that so strange!

  19. It's 7:30am my time and I want to grab that biscuit off the screen and eat it for breakfast! Yes sleep, sleep, sleep and then sleep some more. I was a big sleeper pre-Mason and a grump when I woke up. Seeing as my new alarm clock is pretty darn cute this mama wakes up with a smile.

  33. Love this! Agree completely with hugs....I'm a BIG hugger! I would definitely hug you if I met you...and not in the creepy, blog-stalker way at all . =)

I love coffee and wine (duh), shopping - online and up close and personal - traveling, Taco Bell black bean burrito, going out to dinner with my family...besides all the normal things - Cruz, my husband, my family, you know!

  34. back when we were dating my husband told me he loved maps and i thought he was the nerdiest human ever, but then after i studied abroad i came home with this fascination for them!!

they just look so cool and there are so many ways to display them. any time we go on a major trip, i make a frame for him with the map as the background/matting with a black and white photo of us there. totally got the idea from pinterest and love it!

good to know some other people share our fascination!
