have so much fun in NYC! I am so eager to try Pure Barre - I just found out our gym offers a similar class, so may try that first next week once this cold goes away. If I like it, I think I'm going to try the real thing for the new client month unlimited pass! Glad to hear you like it!

ReplyDeleteI struggle WEEKLY with how much I miss Charlotte. We moved to Buies Creek (a very small town about an hour outside of Raleigh--Campbell University) just under a year ago--and my heart still aches so badly for Charlotte. I didn't want to leave, and I'm not sure we'll ever get to go back to live there. I know I need to be more connected to our life here--but I just miss it. I had friends and a life in Charlotte--I work from home here and have hardly met anyone. Ok, sob story over now--haha. Have SO much fun in NYC this weekend!!!

ReplyDeletei'm always impressed by people who do Purre Barre. my girlfriends and i tried it once and it was..awkward? we were so out of our element and giggled our way through the class. i'm sure they were glad we never came back. haha. but have a blast in NYC and stay warm :)

ReplyDeleteHave so much fun in New York! I tried out Pure Barre November before last and loved it, but could not justify the monthly expense. I ended up getting the DVD set, mat, ball, round bar thing and band for at-home barre workouts. Love it!

I love NYC! Might I suggest a visit to Stone Street in the Financial District when all the Wallstreeters are getting off work. Mad Dog & Beans has the best guacamole and margs!

Not sure where your sister is living but we are on the upper west side and can give recommendations for the limited time we've been here if that might help! I miss Charlotte a lot, too, and have been trying hard to "grow where we're planted" and enjoy the present and little moments as much as possible. I'm a pure barre addict but was disappointed to see that NYC was more than Charlotte! Ha enjoy that ltb. I miss it!

ReplyDeleteHave so much fun in NYC! We find that we are missing it all the time! I had the same {pleasant} sticker shock when we moved from there to Charlotte and I saw the barre prices were much less. It is by far my favorite type of workout! Amelia looks adorable in that photo :)
