Friday Favorites

ONE | SLOW COOKER HOT CHOCOLATE
I made slow cooker hot chocolate for our life group last night thanks to Shay's wayyyyy too amazing for words recipe. So. Darn. Good. And the smell that was lingering around the house...oh my word! I'm glad that turned out well because I wound up burning the chocolate peppermint cookies in the meantime. They were slice and bake. Go figure. :)

Wreath | Mugs
Holiday Home Tour Part 1

TWO | A CHRISTMAS PIE
My sweet blogging friend, Brenda, sent this surprise in the mail. I was wondering what was from Target when it arrived on my doorstep! (Thanks Brenda! We love you!!!) Pie looks precious rocking this girly tee for her first Christmas! And in true #momprobs form, I couldn't chose a favorite picture because I love them all.

Shirt {kids clothing is buy 1 get one 50% off!} | Waffle Knit Leggings | Moccs

THREE | [UN]DIAPER BAG
I'm so glad y'all loved my [un]diaper bag post and details yesterday! It kind of made me want to buy it again in another color, but that's just unnecessary. :)

FOUR | NATIVITY
I love watching little Nancypie play with her Fisher Price Nativity. I hope to candidly document this little scene through the years as she grows and learns the true meaning of Christmas.

FIVE | GLITTER
If you've been around these parts for a while, you know I love Dress Your Tech to keep my desktop background fresh and exciting. Well, this week they put out...sequins and glitter. I chose the below number for bringing in the new year (though these gold sequins were a close second).

Friday Faves...

...around blogland! Things here haven't been too exciting around these parts this week. However, I am well aware that calm and mundane is good sometimes...especially before the Christmas party/event whirlwind that begins next week! Today I'm changing things up a bit and highlighting some of my favorite inspiration from other blogs. I read all of these on the reg (and you should too). So much of my creativity and inspiration is drawn from other amazing women that I've "met" (some virtually and some in real life too) through this community. Here are a handful of posts that made my heart pitter patter this week:

ONE | Home Sweet Ruby had this brilliant idea with Minted custom art.
Is this a perfect keepsake or what? An absolute treasure. Ladies everywhere, remember this one as a custom gift idea!
Via Home Sweet Ruby
TWO | Kitchen Reno + Holiday Home Tour with Simple Stylings
I can't even start talking about it because I won't stop. You might've noticed that on Instagram yesterday.
Via Simple Stylings
THREE | Olive + Tate taught me that my newest clothing crush should be a cape
Yes, a cape. I just want to be able to say, "Give me my cape."
Via Olive + Tate
FOUR | For the second year in a row, I'm all googly-heart-eyed for Style Your Senses sequin stockings.
Wha's even better? They're from Home Goods!
Via Style Your Senses
FIVE | This thrift store chandelier of my dreams upgraded by White Buffalo Styling Co.
Okay, this one is technically something I saw last week, but I haven't gotten it out of my head all week long. I'm plotting a way to get spherical chandelier bulbs like that in my life ASAP.

Friday Favorites

ONE | Nate Berkus for the win with the shower curtain and these tassel hooks. This is my "happy" in the bathroom while we wait to replace that 1961 blush-colored tile.

TWO | Another little something that's win for some "happy" in the kitchen...this guy. Yep. 85% off. I have it set in front of my coffee station. It's a little bit of marble smiling at me before we add new countertops in the kitchen...which could be a few years off because the bathrooms are top priority. So $20 for a little marble goodness in the meantime makes my heart pitter patter. Also a great Christmas gift!

THREE | SRT Advent is here! Read along with me. These words from Day 1 struck and stuck with me: Let us, the weary world, rejoice in the arrival that is worth more than all the bells and whistles, all the magnolia garlands and candlelight vigils, all the quiet pauses and whispered thank-yous. Let's enter the anticipation and celebration, remembering our need, repenting of our sin, and rejoicing in the "already" of Jesus' birth and the "not yet" of all it means for eternity.

FOUR | This girl made me complete mush yesterday. She waved all day. She wore a dress that her great-grandmother (and namesake!) bought her when we were in England. She sat in front of our tree. MUSHMUSHMUSHHHHHH. I literally love her so much that it hurts and can't believe how I'm watching my baby grow and learn so much right before my eyes.

FIVE | Here was a little peek into Christmas in our home. I will show y'all around some more next week...and probably more on Instagram until then. ;)

Friday Favorites

ONE | I'm into this. Simple yet so lovely. I'm obsessed with tree trimmings. I put them everywhere. Might have to recreate this one after we get our tree.

TWO | Speaking of...hello, mantel from last year. Gimme all the tree trimmingssss (and Dollar Tree gold ornaments, holla!). I'm just a liiiitle excited to go pick out our Christmas tree after Thanksgiving. :)

THREE | You know that Old Navy gets me every darn time. I'm trying to imagine how I could pull these off on the reg. Hope sent me an email this week filled with links to so many amazing new arrivals. MEEHHHH. They're KILLING IT with the accessories/stocking stuffers right now. (And I added a few favorite clothing pieces at the end because I couldn't not. ;))

FOUR | Proud wifey alert. My handsome hubby has been blogging for work. I'm so proud of him! Learn Loft is an amazing company, and the former teacher in me totally stands behind and believes in the way they are transforming training and continuing education through e-learning. Go check them out! You can even sign up for their free leadership program that launches next week. Spread the word amongst your co-workers/hubbys/whoever! Thanks, friends!

FIVE | I saw this on Facebook this week and...yep. This is me these days. Mom life? Mom brain? I don't know what to blame it on. But if I'm not in the perfect setting to text you back, odds are I'm going to forget. For a long time. Eeek! Sorry, friends! Owning it. (Also, I need that girl to be a real emoji.)

Happy Friday!

Friday Faveys

Y'all know the drill! Here are some of my favorite things from this week. HAPPY FRIDAY!!! :)

ONE | A little morning inspiration for your Friday...I love this:

Via

TWO | Did you catch my Insta earlier this week? I was so honored to host one of Move Loot's DIY Workshop Series nights at their warehouse. We made evergreen hurricane candle holders. These wonderful ladies came out, crafted, and got some free move loot credit (AKA "loot bucks"). For you lovelies who couldn't make it...I still have great news! Sign up for Move Loot using my referral link, and you'll get $25 in loot bucks automatically! Then use Cheers Y'all's exclusive code CHEERS10 for an extra 10% off! How good is that?! Happy online thrifting!

To learn more about Move Loot, check out this post.
USE CODE CHEERS10 FOR 10% OFF YOUR ORDER!

THREE | Unnecessary purchase of the week that I love. I'd been eyeing this Nate Berkus shower curtain at Target for weeks. (How random is that? Eyeing a shower curtain. Weird.) Anyway! I bought it because the colors and patterns are perfect and it will look SO GOOD in our guest bath when the muted pink tiles are replaced with white subway tile and marble-inspired flooring. Someday. Hopefully soon. Ish. Until then, I PROMISE everything looks really good together in my head. The thing that gets me about Target is the oh-gosh-I-gotta-buy-it-before-it-sells-out-forever problem. That's the case with this number! (P.S. Speaking of good ol' Tarjay, did y'all see the Sugar Planner paper I chose from Monday's post?! LOVE IT!)

Via

FOUR | Y'all. I don't think I've shopped at Loft ever becaaauuuuseee I can find better deals at Old Navy (duh). But then I found this swing turtleneck sweater. (Say what? Yes. SWING. TURTLENECK. SWEATER.) I was thinking about it all week (truth) until I bit the bullet and bought it yesterday...but not before I checked ON to see if they had one similar for much less the price. I'll save you the homework: they didn't. I ordered multiple colors too since it's 40% off with their Friendsgiving sale. Online only. The 40% off code is SHAREIT if you want to join me! ;)

P.S. It's <$40 with the code! ;)

FIVE | I did my first One Room Challenge! I work better with a timeline/schedule than without one. For sure. The 6 week motivation was just what I needed. I'm already contemplating which room to tackle for the next challenge this spring. Hmmm...!

Friday Faves

ONE
I love y'all. There is such community in blogging, from blogging friends to my best girlfriends to friends of friends who read my blog...I love how we all support each other as women. Thank y'all (with my whole heart!) for your kind texts, emails, messages, and comments regarding my post yesterday. Wow! You are a reminder of how important it is to keep things real, raw, and relevant as well as a testament to this:
Via

My morning went so much better when I chose joy despite waking up six (!) times last night with a crying baby, started the day by opening the Bible (and laughed at how SRT mirrored my thoughts--a "God wink" at its best!) for the first time in the morning in several weeks, felt thankful for my warm coffee with organic half and half and a stevia in the raw (I literally felt thankful for every ingredient), my sweet family, and just sat there for a few moments counting my blessings. There is so much to be said about starting the day with gratefulness. I'm preaching to myself here! :) Much like love is a choice instead of an emotion, joy is also, and I'm going to keep on choosing it.

TWO
And since I declared how behind I was on things (insert blonde girl flipping hair emoji), a friend of mine sent me some BEAUTYCOUNTER products to try. I still have yet to try them, but I am already digging their values and ingredients used (and not used) as a company! Their mission is simple yet full of passion: to get safe products into the hands of everyone. Have y'all tried BEAUTYCOUNTER?

THREE
Doxie and Amelia love pumpkin treats something fierce. These from our friends at chewy.com are organic and literally look like golden grahams. I'm pretty sure a human could eat them and not bat an eyelash, but I haven't tried. (However, my sister and I did ponder serving them to Mark and Spyros for a snack while we were in the mountains last weekend just to see if they'd notice. We didn't do it. But the thought crossed our minds.)

FOUR
You might've seen this photo on Instagram, and I can't wait to show you more of them soon! (Cameron Faye Photography knocked it out of the park again! :)) Will you please vote for Nancy's nursery just one more time? I promise it's the last time I'll ask/remind! The contest ends Saturday. Then I'll hush!! This is just my favorite space in our home. The love in that room is tangible and brings me to praise Him and pray for our family with fervor daily.

Cameron Faye Photography
FIVE
Halloween is tomorrow! I am never really into Halloween, but Nancy's costume has me all excited this year. She doesn't have an opinion in the matter yet, so Mark and I got thoroughly enjoyed choosing a costume for her. And my cute hubby might've even suggested coordinating outfits for the two of us that we'll be wearing as well. AHHHHH I can't wait. Things like this are so much more fun with kiddos. Stay tuned, or check out my Instagram later this weekend for our silly little fam!

Lots of Friday Favorites!

ONE | This reminded me so much of my sister. I don't think I could imagine a dreamier fall tablescape. Rustic, warm, and white...it's perfect!

Via

TWO | I played around with this boho-vibe statement necklace from Happiness Boutique. Loving it! (And a certain baby girl loves playing with it as well.) They have lots of fair priced statement necklaces and earrings that are perfect for the holidays. Be sure to check them out! Thanks, Happiness Boutique!

I wore this outfit to last month's Move Loot DIY Workshop series paired with my favorite Hue jeggings (that I raved about here) and fall fringe booties!

Shop the look:

THREE  | Aaaand speaking of Move Loot's DIY Workshop series, you are invited to November's event hosted by yours truly! We're making evergreen hurricane candle holders. Come join!!! Everything from the wine to the materials is free...and you might get a few Move Loot bucks for being there! ;) Basically there is no good reason not to come!!! Space is limited, so please reserve your spot here on Facebook.

FOUR | Shameless plug, y'all. Owning it [again/always]. Nancy's Nursery was picked as a finalist for Project Nursery's October Room. Would you take just a second to vote for The Loveliest Nursery? Please? Thank you!!!

FIVE | Y'all, I seriously think Hope and I went to Target THE VERY DAY ALL OF THE BIG, MAJOR DISPLAY CHRISTMAS STUFF came out (!!!!!!!). Yes, I know it's October. Truth: I do not care. (My Christmas stuff goes up Nov 1 anyway. Whateva! #hatersgonhate) :) But in all seriousness..AHHHHHH! Christmas at Target was easily the highlight of my day yesterday. Hope and I perused these displays for a good 45 minutes picking up and swooning over every. little. thing. I didn't take a picture of everything, but I can't even tell you how beautiful the displays are where everything is white/copper/silver/gold!!!!

AHHH. The pink trees for Nancy's Nursery. I MEAN.
The faux greenery (with pine cones + gray berries in a lovely white pot) for the mantel or a tablescape.
And the doormat for our front door...usually not my colors but 1) it says joy and 2) the red and black compliment our brick and shutters. So yeah. JOY!

While I'm still gushing over Target: their flannel sheets are on sale through Saturday (Holiday Collection 1 | Holiday Collection 2 | Threshold Collection), so snag those now if you haven't already! I'm loving life in my fleece sandwich every night SO DARN MUCH.

SIX | We are heading to the mountains this weekend! We'll be in Linville, NC. Any suggestions on places around where we should eat/hike/explore/etc?! Fill me in!!!! Considering my cutie preggy sissy is coming too, maybe the weekend will look like this...(kidding, sista. Kind of.)?

Move Loot Friday Faves

I had so much fun at Move Loot's DIY October Workshop this week. Summer from Simple Stylings hosted a wonderful girls' night out filled with craftiness, wine, aaaand maybe some free Move Loot bucks. Have y'all heard of Move Loot? It's THE easiest way to buy/sell furniture secondhand...think thrifting but without leaving your doorstep or spending your precious time only to come home empty-handed. If you have something to sell, they pick it up from your door, y'all. That's amazing. Think of it like Craigslist but a million times BETTER because Move Loot does all the picture taking, promoting, selling, delivering, and--duh--no sketch meet ups. You just sit in the comfort of your home. So go ahead and sign up for Move Loot (currently in CLT, Raleigh, Atlanta, NYC, LA and San Fran) and start browsing. I've been stalking daily in case something comes up that I just have to snag for my One Room Challenge! :) Oh! And I can't not mention, you get $25 in "Loot Bucks" when you sign up here using my referral link. Holla at that fun Friday treat!

I've rounded up some faves that are currently available on their site. Happy thrifting! (My favorite.) Oh! And if you are local, please save the date for Move Loot's November DIY Workshop hosted by yours truly! We'll be creating something that's perfect for the upcoming holidays. You'll love it. Promise! November 11 at 6:30. Write it down! Come hang with me!!! :)

ONE | VANCE LINEN CONSOLE TABLE
Someone please buy this. I wish I needed it. Linen, nailheads, that price?!

Vance Linene Console Table

TWO | Misty Morning Club Chair by west elm
Obviously this is amazing because it's west elm. Also, it's gray. And velvet. Two things I have an affinity for!

Misty Morning Club Chair by west elm
THREE | GOLDEN BAMBOO MIRROR
Gold! Bamboo! LOVE.

GOLDEN BAMBOO MIRROR

FOUR | GREEN DREAM TABLE by west elm
More west elm love. And I know I'm a sucker for neutrals, but if I had to pick a favorite bold color for decor accents, it would be this deep emerald green. This desk is SO COOL.

GREEN DREAM TABLE by west elm

FIVE | THONET ROCKING CHAIR
Speaking of cool...this. Talk about a statement piece!

Honorable mentions...
These end tables. I pondered them for my ORC, but I want something a tad bigger. I'm always a sucker for ring pulls (and this price tag)!
Another west elm find: a sofa
Amazing, unique corner piece.
A mirrored dining table for 350?! Are you kidding me?!!!
Mahogany brass end table

See, y'all?! Isn't there stuff awesome? There was a campaigner desk on here earlier that I wanted to show y'all (SWOON!), but of course it already got snatched up. I'm telling you. Move Loot is the thrill of the hunt, but with less time (and gas miles) wasted! I'm always stalking what's new. It's true. So start the hunt! And don't forget to sign up here for $25 of Move Loot bucks!
